Activision's new game "Beyond Dark Castle" doesn't work on a 2500. I have tried both 68020 and 68000 mode, but it still won't work. I tested the game on a 500, and it works fine. Symptoms are a "Pink" screen after you enter the "words from the manual" Also, when re-booting after trying to load the game, my battery-backed clock returns when doing the setclock load. It recovers after setting the date and time, and doing a setclock save. I am returning the game to the store, and getting my money back. There is NO excuse for the game not running on my machine. Activision obviously didn't test it out on a 2500 before releasing the game. -- "What is another word | Dave Lowrey | [The opinions expressed MAY be for 'Thesaurus'?" | Amdahl Corp. | those of the author and are not | Houston, Texas | necessarily those of his Steven Wright | amdahl!dwl10 | employer] (`nuff said!)
