  This is an ancient question:

      How  many  January's  has  it  been since NewTek promised to
   release  the  toaster?   Last I talked to the VP, he said, they
   will  start shipping 'em by September or October.  They already
   sent  out some for beta testing in August.  Now, from Comdex, I
   hear  it'll  be  January.   It better be January!  They have no
   excuse  this time.  (chip prices have drop down thru the floor)
   Is  the  lord  of  3D animation, Allen Hastings, completing his
   awesome  rendering  program  by  Xmas  or New Years?  I hear it
   supports  the  toaster,  but  will  it also support the regular
   Amiga modes?
