I have never gotten the Mac's somewhat brain-dead file requester to recognize anything other than folders (i.e. directories) on any disk. Files do not exist as far as it's concerned. I've written a letter to ReadySoft mentioning the problem, and criticizing the ugliness of the file transfer process in general. Since I've also included some money and an order for their extension cable, maybe they'll be nice enough to answer. A-Max really is a well-built product except for the file transfer programs, and the Mac's operating system itself (which isn't their fault).
