Message-ID: <681@vuecon.econ.vu.nl> Date: 20 Nov 89 12:12:55 GMT Organization: VU Economics, Amsterdam, the Netherlands Lines: 17 I have never seem this posted before, but I think it will be a good idea to install a few EISA slots in the Amiga 3000. As far as we know yet, the A3000 will feature 32-bit Zorro III slots. Commodore Germany confirmed that an A2386 is under development. The 'expensive' EISE slot controller would fit nicely on that board, just as the current AT slots... If this is all true, it would be nice to have the best of the two worlds if you want to. In this way, the A3000 will also be of interest of those poor AT-owners who want to upgrade to a full 32bit system! The other guyz are only making 486 EISAs at the moment, and this would be to the 3000s advantage... What is your opinion about EISA busses in the A3000? greetz, niesemc@vuecon.econ.vu.nl
