I tried to suggest it as a much more desirable alternative to a '386-based PC with a VGA card running OS/2, because the Amy already has blow-em-away graphics, and multi-tasks more efficiently than OS/2 ever will, and it will run all their favourite Messy-DOS software into the bargain. The response I got was that the Bridge-board was far too slow (only 8 MHz) to be a reasonable alternative, and for $1200, plus the cost of the Amiga, it just wasn't worth it. Is this true? Are they perhaps just talking about the 8088 Bridge-board, and there are '286 and maybe even '386 boards out there which will do better? I'd like a Reality Check from people out there who've used the Bridge- board, before I accept this suspicious claim. Thanks, Craig. /// /// \\\/// \XX/ acm131@eric.ccs.northeastern.edu
