However, while I have seen several questions, I haven't seen any solutions yet. Hopefully there are some. I am having difficulty loading sampled sounds into SONIX to use as instruments. I am using Future Sound to create IFF sound files, both one shot and 3 octave files. I then rename them to .instr files and load them into SONIX 2.0, which shows a waveform plot. Following the directions in the SONIX manual I then save them to disk which creates both a .instr and .ss file. I then reload this file and obtain a sample sound screen with sliders. However, when I try using the keyboard to play the sound, nothing! Also, if I try loading the sound into a score, nothing! I have tried various sample rates, lengths, etc. all with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
