I don't know if this will help you much... But the newest software from Supra has support for the LXT-100S (as well as the 3xxx series) built in. I've heard that Microbotics does a good job of supporting the rigid disk block standard, and I know Supra has done the same thing. You should be able to format the drive with any of the Supra controllers, then just hook it up to your microbotics. The only things that I know of that would be different between the two are the DevInit code (device driver) and possibly the way they store the filesystem... BTW, I've been using Maxtors with my two Supra systems for several months and other than difficulties (since fixed by Supra for me...) in doing an autoboot from the initial powerup, it's worked flawlessly. The autoboot troubles were caused by the Maxtor needing to be accessed before it would send out an `I'm ready' signal.
