If you check any old (or new :-) Computer Shopper, you're sure to find an ad for Kasara Systems, who stock ALL amiga custom chips (that I'm aware of). I took out an 8520 in my 1000 a while back, and these folks got me a replacement in a jiffy. They even sold me a second (spare) at half-price. I recommend them.
