Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 23 I'm planning to purchase a SCSI host interface for my Amiga 1000 and don't which is the best. I already have a StarBoard II with 2M RAM and MFM w/ 68881. Is it true that I have to remove the MFM if I want to add the SCSI module to the SBII? Also, I'm thinking about whether to use the Supra interface or the CLtd interface. Could somebody please post the pros and cons of the interfaces? And, is it possible to replace the HD inside the original Supra / CLtd HD housing when I decide to upgrade to a better SCSI HD? I know the power supply of A1000 is better than that of A500, but do I need an external power supply for the HD? There are people selling HD housing w/ power supply for $79, has anyone tried those out?
