I now have the null modem settings working correctly.  Thanks for all the help
everyone.

Also, is the following possible?

I have an Apple //e (Enhanced) with a DataLink 2400 baud modem in slot 2.  I
also have a SSC card in slot 3 (connected to the null modem).  I can use
either setup through ProTERM.  Why?  I thought that slot 3 would die...

I also set up an alias with Davex to rename my "pt.bios" file to and from a
seperate "nullmodem.bios".  It works quick and dirty.  No reconfiguring.
