First let me ask my main question and then explain why. 
  
  Can any of you recommend a nice Atari dealer in the Connecticut (eastern
end prefered) or Boston area?  Thank you.


 Dealer Woes: Here in the teeny state of Rhode Island, we have but one 
dealerof Atari wares.  This place also sells Amiga and C64 stuff as all Atari 
dealers seem to these days. However, these lowly people at the dealer are 
also involved in pirating with the Very scummy people in charge of the 
local user's group. I will not do business with a hypocritical dealer that 
pirates and doesn't even let you try software w/o buying it.  There is another 
dealer close by in Mass. but they are very small and don't deal with Mega's.  Also the owner was very rude to me as a prospective customer and made stupid 
jokes about his wife who was working the counter.  I have very little 
intention of doing business with either of these places.

  There was a very nice store up in Quincy, Mass run by a 
friend-of-a-friend
but he went out of business (he was broken into once and insurance costs 
went throught the roof.)

  In recent trips to California (SF Bay Area) and Oregon, I noticed that
several Atari stores the used to be are either gone or all Amiga and 
Nintendo.
The condition of Atari dealers really seems sad these days.  I would like 
to
possibly get another Atari computer whenever it (TT) comes out, however I 
may have decide to go with the Mac since I know I can easily find dealers 
and info for it. The situation has been very bad out here and with the 
local user's group been turned into a pay'n''pirate party bunch, I was out of 
touch with Atari happenings. thanks for listening.
