Message-ID: <20005@acf4.NYU.EDU> Date: 18 Nov 89 19:44:00 GMT Organization: New York University Lines: 25 To: Microport System V/AT Users Hi, I'm trying to port a set of graphics subroutines to an PC6300+ using system V Unix and I have some troble undersatnding the shared memory attachment process that is done by the command in microport's version as shmgreate(1) that I guess is using several system calls that are present in ATT's Unix version. Please can somebody send me at least a brief comment from the man page indicating what does this prog do especifically. Also there is a testing routine not present in ATT's system V 2.0 to check the results: ipcs(1) again I'll like to know something about this thing.
