  There was a posting which gave a fix for the problem of the lockup. It
had to do with a jumper being set wrong. I have had one lockup since I
got the card, so I'm waiting until I have the system down for some other
reason before I change the jumper. I would replace the whole disk system
with an ESDI setup before I would go back, the Adaptek was sooooo slow.
It also liked to forget the number of tracks on the 2nd hard disk when
powered down.
