Or is there no general rule? Someone mentioned results with a headparking utility that seemed not to recognize the full disk -- could this be because the disk is partitioned? Will parking the heads over a track do damage to the track? (Obviously DOS uses the last track in the DOS partition) -- John Wavrik, UCSD
