Keywords: software,DMV,drive, disk, help, problem,MSDOS Message-ID: <5399@ncrcae.Columbia.NCR.COM> Date: 22 Nov 89 14:57:44 GMT Reply-To: simmons@ncrcae.Columbia.NCR.COM (James Simmons) Organization: NCR Corp., Engineering & Manufacturing - Columbia, SC Lines: 17 I have an NCR Decision-mate V (five) running MSDOS 2.11. I ran across some software that checks for the disk in drive A. This software must have been written for the IBM machine, because it says to insert a formatted disk in drive A. I inserted a formatted disk, but the software didn't detect it. Needless to say, I got no further with that program. Has anyone else out there encountered this problem with your machine? It really has me stumped. Please email your replies, and I will summarize to save bandwidth.
