I have my own business, so I was looking for an inexpensive one (at first). I checked out WINTEK 1801 South St. Lafayette In. 47904 (800) 742-6809. They are ok, with a small library. I think the price was about $900. 2500AD po box 480 Buena Vista, CO. 80017 (719) 395-8683. They are cheap (500) + $150 for a 6809 simulator. I had nothing but problems, and the code was not effecient AT ALL. and INTROL 647 W virginia ST, Milwaukee, Wi. 53204 (414) 276-2937. The compilier is 2000 and a source level debugger/simulator is 1000. It generates excellent code (1 test program of 7 lines of C code was about 35 lines of assembler with 2500AD and 9 lines of assembler with INTROL!) I actually purchased the 2500 AD product after deciding I couldn't afford more. After 3 days of ZERO PRODUCTIVITY, I sent it back. I then gladly spent $3,000 for the INTROL c compilier, assepbler, and source level debugger, and have not regretted it since. -Brian Schmidt (Schmidt Entertainment Technologies) (708) 864-3330
