Well my sister bought a Mac+ and went off to college, and since she'd be using the printer more, my parents gave her the printer. The computer doesn't get used much; they don't need 72dpi, but they would like a printer that goes with it. Is my only move to get a Grappler or other parallel-serial interface, and get a parallel printer, or are there any serial printers out there? The original manual explains that the Epson RX and FX series are compatible---but tyhe delaers I talk to are clueless about anything so "ancient." Please reply by email---I don't read this group regularly. And send flames to /dev/null: this semeed the most appropriare place. Thanks. --tim wright, starving gradual student, twright@athena.mit.edu Disclaimer: I'm at MIT, studying polisci. They don't believe in me, never mind my opinions.
