Surprise!  ZTerm 0.85 has a "Receive Zmodem" menu item.

In any case, I at least understand what you're asking, but my copy of WK
hasn't come in yet; if it's not been solved by the time I get it, I'll play
around with it and post what I find.  Knowing the way past versions did
things, there's probably some screwball OPTION-COMMAND-SHIFT-FOOBAR you have
to toggle or something....
