When I type "sz file" at a unix prompt in Zterm or anything else I always
get back "sz: cammand not found".  Do you have an sz command on your unix
system?  Can you send me source code so and can install it locally?  (I would
settle for source code to xmodem -- like too many others I am stuck using
text capture or binary kermit, which is slow.)
