I think Dennis, that you have misunderstood Greg's question. He is not asking whether you can use a video card with the ci, he is asking whether you can use the Video Card Expansion Kit (the 8 chips you add to a 4-bit video card to make it an 8 bit video-card) with the ci. The correct answer is no, but you dont need it. The ci internal video uses the ci's motherboard RAM for video RAM. If you want to display 256 colors, just make sure you have at least 2 Megs of Ram in your machine. You can also use a video-card with the expansion and disable the on-board video, which will lead to somewhat improved performance, but this is not what was asked.
