The best one was called MacFax by Orchid Technologies. It was a 9600 baud Group III fax and data modem, and it came bundled with BackFax. Granted the 9600 baud data modem is not V.32 standard (its V.29), so it can only talk to another Macfax or Applefax data modem, but from 300 to 1200 baud it can communicate with any modem.
