I have an SE that I wish to upgrade.  The question becomes whether to choose
the Apple motherboard upgrade (~$1700), or choose one of the accelerators on
the market.  What really causes me further confusion is that I am not really
sure how accelerators work.  I am interested in opinions of choosing one over
the other, and a short tutorial on how accelerators do their job.  Thanks.
