Enhanced Multifinder is more like what System 7 can do. What a shame... Now, how 'bout that virtual memory? flame on Of course (ahem) one could still pick up a MacII Clone with 8 megs, System 8(!), true multitaksking, virtual memory for about $3k.... (humble amiga)... flame off I use both a Mac II and Amiga 2500 at work and have really gotten hooked on true multitasking. Such an addition to Mac system 7 (or 8) would make that machine MUCH more useful for us type A personalities who like to have 3 or 4 things going at once. I like the Mac ii, and I must use Excel, etc as eveyone else does here at the lab ;^), but if I could get along only with the amiga, I probably would. My previous multitaking system was a MacII AND MacPlus on one desk... Comments appreciated; flames ignored....
