One of our machines (not a server) has gone flakey on time keeping.
It worked for months without a problem, then one day the time and
timezone were wrong.  Trying to set the timezone from Preferences, I
get the error "Couldn't set timezone."  I can however use date ("date
-t 300").  Gremlins?  Cosmic rays?  Terrorists?  Help?
