Keywords: 6000 8" floppy Message-ID: <2722@ucrmath.UCR.EDU> Date: 23 Nov 89 17:54:00 GMT Reply-To: root%ttank@ucrmath.edu Organization: University of California, Riverside Lines: 20 We still have a lot of customers that are using the 6000/16s and we currently shutdown our only in-house 6000. I would like to write software to drive a 8" disk drive on our in-house 4000 using either the motherboard floppy ctlr or even another controller hooked up as a card etc.. But, I need cable requirements etc.. I remember writting code to convert from the old vax 8" drives to Tandy 8" drives and it was a lot of fun but very useful when done! I would rather all this be able to run under SCO Xenix. Any suggestions? Anybody? :-) Karl Bunch Think Tank Software -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: ..!ucbvax!ucdavis!tts!root ARPA: jarob@ucrmath.edu
