I've spend lots of time, energy, and phone-calls trying to resolve this issue for my 286. You'd think even if it wasn't available as EGA emulation, a driver could be written for MS Windows or GEM! The 400 rows are ONLY available in text-mode. The Yamaha LCD controller chip (V6366) supposedly allows the LCD to be used in a non-standard 640 by 350 graphics mode, but Zenith embedded the chip into all its sport systems in such a way in which this will never be possible. They are now dumping the super- and turbosport at low prices. So the next generation of machines will probably be VGA. It seems like the sort of advertising a company could get in trouble for, but Zenith continues rolling along, even using MSWindows decorations to frame its current advertising (even for the Minisport!) subliminally suggesting compatability with graphics-oriented operating systems.
