Not recommended unless you need your hand held very tightly. If you know what "ls" output looks like, or know how to read the Apple manuals, pass it by. It is just another in the mounds of poor "unix for the novice" books. It seems to be a long time out of date, too, since the only stuff it mentions is what came standard in A/UX 1.0, and the StarNine utilities.
