        Hallo,

        SysVR3.** and older variants of UNIX lack of a
        Command Line Editor.

        Did anyone implement a Command Line Editor using streams.

        This would give _all_ applications, not only shells,
        using cooked mode, a command line editing feature.

        All hints and pointers are wellcome
