Subject: Dec3100 xterm Cut and Paste Limitations?

xterm under Dec3100 only allow 255 characters for Copy & Paste
(described in the man pages). This provides a lot of inconvenience for
the user to copy large area of text. Does anyone out there know why there
is such a limitation? Is there any way to get around it?
