Sudbury Mass. Lines: 20 I have a DecStation 3100, and am having problems with the colormap. I do get colors on the screen, for windows back/foreground when I set them with the session manager, but when I say: xclock -fg blue it complains: X Toolkit Warning: Cannot allocate colormap entry for "blue" This message is the same for every attempt to set a color for an X program. We got this machine from DEC as a former demo machine, so it was preconfigured when I got it. It's probably just some configuration parameter I have to set, right? ;-) thanks, Bob Rose TCI
