Yes, IBM has been including as a part of its TCP/IP for VM and MVS products
a version of the C client libraries (Xlib, Xtlib, Athena widgets, and
H-P widgets). In addition, IBM ships "sample" code which allows applications
using GDDM to display their graphics in an X Window on a compliant X11
X server. X clients work just fine from a 3090...

At the current time, only the C interface is shippped as a part of the TCP/IP
products. This could, of course, be interfaced to other languages given
