Version 1.2 of Xtank is available via anonymous ftp in /contrib/xtank.tar.Z
on expo.lcs.mit.edu.  Latest additions include the following:

Can use sunlwp thread package on Sun's, instead of the setjmp version
Game speed control implemented so you can slow the game down on fast machines
Better on line help files for mazes and how to play different games
Ported to HP9000 series 800
Lots of bug fixes and general clean-up

Thanks to Christopher North-Keys, Robert Potter, Bill Bolosky, Tor Lillqvist
and Juha Sarlin for their improvements.

There is now a mailing list for people who are interested in doing development
