This has a lot to do with the silliness and artificiality of the distinction
between the inet groups and the non-inet groups.

Sorry, Carl, unix-pc is for the AT&T "UNIX PC" and nothing else, and it was
an equally silly botch done for equally inadequate reasons.  It's high time
we folded it back into something like comp.sys; it has exactly one group
with significant traffic these days.
