True if you are dealing with the existing usenet readership. We are trying to bring in a new readership, many of whom feel that usenet has nothing to offer them (I happen to think they are wrong, and will remain a usenet site). Most of the readers of comp.os.vms are actually on the info-vax mailing list or its bitnet counterpart, and are NOT running news.
