    I am glad that the creation of this group is under consideration.
  I have subscribed to talk.religion.newage intermittently, and I am
  sure that t.r.p will be a distinct and useful alternative to it.  I
  can not somehow identify my views with such a modernistic, hitech
  name as "newage", whereas t.r.p will fit the bill nicely.  I urge
  all the intersted people to vote on this group, preferrably "YES"
