I remember posting a similar suggestion to news.announce.newusers a couple of months back. Anyone know what happened to *that* idea? IMHO this belongs in n.a.n. Of course it's a good idea. The questions keep getting asked over and over again, and to each new entrant to USENET, every question is quite valid. The only point I might add is that eventually it'll read like the sysV docs (long), so we might have a simple version on a rotating n.a.n. posting and an extended version available from the (whoever) moderator on email request. >Internet: tar@ksuvax1.cis.ksu.edu Voice: (913) 532-6350 >UUCP: ...!{rutgers,texbell}!ksuvax1!tar Fax: (913) 532-7114 --ed {edhew@xenitec.on.ca}
