New users -- if you're not sure what's going on, please ask some human
person who does.  In the referenced case, the machine being posted
from is at Lewis & Clark College.  *Someone* there knows about Unix
and News, or the node wouldn't be running!  Whoever that is: that's
the person to ask.

The best book is O'Reilly & Associates' USING UUCP AND USENET,
available from your college bookstore or send email to uunet!ora!nuts
for information.

The net's expensive.  Don't be afraid to post when appropriate, but
be sure to exhaust your local resources first.
