   I am looking for a Hall-Effect sensor capable of detecting the
Earth's magnetic flux. "Electronics" Magazine (Dec 18, 1980) described
such a device in a design for building a Hall Compass.

   Unfortunately, the electronic shops in my area aren't much help
in locating unusual items. Can anyone provide me with a address
where I can purchase a "F. W. Bell BH-850" flux-concentrating
hall-effect sensor?
