I would like to see some discussion about the differences
in technical capabilities between the "Blackbird" and spy
satellites. I'm curious as to what missions can be accomplished
by one system and not the other. I would guess the Blackbird
gives us greater flexibility in responding to surprise attacks
and other unexpected events, and that having both systems would
tend to deter an attack aimed at incapacitating our spy satellites.
