The model you have is for point-to-point use on a 4 wire circuit. It won't be any good to you unless you have 2 and some way of connecting them together over some distance. It probably is 1200 baud also. (see the options on bottom). Suggestion: Give it back to your friend.... it's not worth the trouble... Dave
