I would like to do FTP directly fron my PC (possibly also as a host)

I have a telnet server available, and I also have slip option available 
on this server.  What I an looking for is PD slip and/or  FTP software.

Can someone give me either a pointer to an FTP site where I can download
such software, or send me a copy.
