PhD IN COGNITIVE SCIENCE The Department of Cognitive Science offers a PhD in Cognitive Science. The core curriculum emphasizes the theoretical and empirical study of cognitive phenomena, the neurological basis of cognitive processes, and computational modeling (both conventional AI and connectionist approaches).
