  I am a database administrator of large Oracle and Sybase SQL databases
and have ever-increasing requirements for additional storage. Purchasing
additional magnetic storage has gotten to be expensive and managing the
storage is a hassle. I would like to explore alternative storage media
for keeping my databases on-line. 
  I would like to discuss possible solutions to my storage problems with
others in a similar predicament.
