  Does anyone have any experience of, or information on, EDT and/or
EVE emulators for PCs?  We've been looking at the following
products ("$" == "pound sterling"):

EDT+ (Boston Business Computing, Ltd.)  ($179)

[Is essentially what it claims to be: EDT for PCs, with a little bit
more.]

nu/TPU (a/Soft)  ($299)

[Again more or less what it claims to be: TPU for PCs with, in
addition to TPU itself, versions of EDT and EVE; also vi thrown in
for good measure.]

  Any information on these or similar products would be appreciated.

  While on the subject, we have a PC version of vi, the documentation
of which describes it to be

                          Free VI Version 1.4
                   Copyright 1987, 1988 by Sue Doe Nim.

Does anyone know if versions later than 1.4 exist?
