Lines: 17 Just an observation: a surgeon is an engineer (applying known techniques) most of the time. a surgeon developing new operating techniques is in my opinion doing scientific work. Computer science/engineering is not the only field that does not have two types of education, one for engineering, and one for science. Designers of HUGE bridges usually are scientists too, as the engineering aspects of large bridges are not that well understood by all engineers in the trade.
