A good friend of mine has a THOMPSON 4375M multiscan monitor,
made 2/87, hooked up to an IBM AT clone, that has some very
mysterious behavior.  The image "hops", almost like losing
vertical synch, but not fully, about 2-3 times a minute.  This
behavior happens more as the monitor heats up, in both the
640x350 ega mode and 640x480 vga mode.  However it is rock-solid
when driven in the 800x600 mode by WordPerfect.  He and I
exchanged monitors to see if the problem was graphics card
related, but it goes wherever the monitor goes.

If anyone has *any* ideas, or like experience, please let me
know.
