I'm looking for general info on what might be out there to do various different kinds of things, but my most immediate need is for presentation graphics (slide shows). For the immediate problem, I need: - Minimally, something that can put up moveable/scaleable block font characters on the screen, hopefully in color, hopefully with some control over background also. - Possibly also, something that's able to create and manipulate arbitrary objects on the screen. - Maximally, something in which I can create and manipulate 3D objects on the screen, possibly also with source light control, shading, etc. I realize this is a pretty tall order, especially for something that would be public domain, but that's what I'm after. Anyone out there got any info on such a beastie? Please reply directly to this ID if possible. Thanks!
