What I ment by "redefine" is to change the characters appearance on the screen. i.e. change some character to a triangle or something, so when ever the character was printed by a writeln or write command a triangle would be printed. Also, is there a way that this could be done while staying in textmode? I know I've seen the code somewhere . . . thanx --Michael (walsh@cs.odu.edu) ----------- "He's got a '42 Ford and we've got a DeLorean!
