Message-ID: <4036@crdgw1.crd.ge.com> Date: 29 Nov 89 19:47:11 GMT Sender: news@crdgw1.crd.ge.com Reply-To: barnett@crdgw1.crd.ge.com (Bruce Barnett) Organization: GE Corp. R & D, Schenectady, NY Lines: 16 We have someone here who is trying to interface out IBM mainframe to a Sun running TranScript. The file, when sent over, uses 8-bit PostScript. The printcap file, as suggested by adobe, sun, etc. is set up to strip the parity bit. Can I just change the printcap entry? Will it work? What is the proper setting? Thanks. -- Bruce G.
