I am not sure how many of these applications really HAVE TO do
exitserver.

At leaset, Microsoft Word does it although it is unnecessary.
For versions 4 and 5 of MS Word, you can remove the exitserver
section from POSTSCRx.INI file, and the program still works fine.

I hate it when they do this.
